Exochori is an ideal base for exploring the area on foot.
This part of the southern Peloponnese, the Mani, is famed for its natural beauty. You can enjoy the spectacular descent of the Viros Gorge which cuts dramatically between the villages of Exochori and Tseria.
Paths extend down to the coast (approx 6kms) via old cobbled mule tracks. There are also opportunities to explore the mountains behind the village including the summit of the Taygetos Range, (Profitas Ilias 2400m). As the village is at a height of 500m you already have 'one foot on the mountain'.
